These materials include useful (usable and recyclable) and waste ones (non-reusable) which would be in all three states of solid, liquid and gas (solids and fluids).
In case of not collecting and not transferring the useful materials properly, the production of waste and recycling the materials will increase and decrease, respectively. Also, the lack of proper collection and transfer of waste causes irreparable damage to human health and the environment.
Among the useful materials that can be collected and transferred, different types of oil and gas reactors catalysts, petrochemical and steel industries, pure or impure materials of steel, cement, copper and aluminum factories, heavy metals in mines, agricultural products and human and animal food can be pointed. Waste also includes industrial effluents, sludge, sulfur and acids.
Dust and pollutants
Due to the inability and in order to observe the safety principles of human resources in the collection and transfer of materials in special industrial environments, especially in deep, high and closed areas, as well as practical problems in the collection and movement of materials (Dust and pollutants), collecting and transferring the materials has always been a priority of industrial projects.
In this regard, industrial vacuum cleaners have been provided by local and foreign companies to collect and transfer the materials. Experimental observations and technical, engineering, economical, operational and environmental studies of existing vacuum cleaners indicate significant limitations and problems as follows:
The import and deployment of foreign vacuum cleaners is associated with a huge investment which is not economically viable.
Controlling the material collection and transfer operations with existing vacuum cleaners isn’t performed automatically, which reduces the efficiency of the operation.
Failure to troubleshoot the system right away during the operation, causes physical damage to suction units (engine jumping, tank distortion, disconnection of hydraulic components, etc.) and manpower (amputation, respiratory poisoning, Gas poisoning and …).
Dependence of the mechanical and electrical force required by the vacuum on the lethal mechanical and electrical force (trailer) reduces the efficiency of the operation.
The mechanism of discharging materials from the suction tank causes spraying and spreading the materials in the environment, which is harmful from the point of view of environmental safety and manpower.
7- High level of noise caused by suction mechanisms causes annoyance to the user and the environment.
Environmental pollution is intensified by the release of fine dust and dust of dry industrial materials (various types of catalysts, iron dust, coal dust, etc.) by existing vacuum cleaners.
Applying various commercial components such as pumps, motors and filters, and not observing the technical and engineering principles of component assembly, resulted in reduction of the efficiency of material collection and transfer operations by the vacuum cleaner.
High volume and weight of built-in vacuum cleaners has led to a decrease in dynamic maneuver in applying vacuum cleaners inside industrial environments with space constraints.
